Shopping Tips

ADDITIONAL TIDBITS

It's common sense, but we don't DO it, so....

Never shop while emotional or in a rush.

Never grocery shop while HUNGRY!

You need to be in a good frame of find and focused on the right things when you shop. One of the best hints I can give you for sticking to a nutritional way of life is to not bring junk into the house!

Make little improvements every step of the way.

* If your kids HAVE to have mac and cheese 3 times a week, use whole grain pastas and real cheese (not the processed stuff in boxes!)

* If you MUST have some cookies, buy some Kashi or sugar free or other less unhealthy types.

* If you eat a lot of chicken, buy the skinless kind. (I know, I know. It's a HELL of a sacrifice. The years you add to your life will be worth it.)
