KEEPING POSITIVE, DAY TWO

KEEPING POSITIVE Day 2, 2009 Flashback
(You can use these as a starting block for the "first seven days" and then add your own stuff, or simply keep redoing the seven starters every week until these positive new habits become the norm.)

DAY TWO...are you a Revolutionary or just revolting? :)

RECOGNIZE!

It's Day Two, coming at ya early since I'll be out the door at the crack of Dawn!

Today's task; DROP PESSIMISM FROM YOUR LEXICON!

As the saying goes, "If you expect to be disappointed, you'll rarely be proven wrong!"Phrases that play like theme songs in our mind ("Things will never work out.", "This is as good as it's going to get.", "That'll never happen") are self-fulfilling prophecies.

Break the pattern and throw out the dirty over-used negativity, just like you would bath water or dishes water. These are worthless, negativity-producing, detriments to our happiness. Jettison these ideas from your mind, rid yourself of the comfort of expecting and accepting "business as usual."

Open yourself up to the possibilities.
The glass is not only half full, but maybe that's actually something better than water in it!
(Hey, go for broke!)

Excelsior!
