RESOLUTION, Part Three

I will stop seeking support where I have learned I will find none.

I will look within to find the strength I need, and trust fully that it is within me to provide it, even if I don't know how just yet.

We are meant to be our own best friends in this world; yet few of us have been adequately taught how to realize this. Others are merely buffer and assistance, no matter how beloved.

I will surround myself with positive and affirming thoughts and sounds, to help train my mind and soul and also drown out what the outside world has to offer. Songs, books, people, quotes, movies, all will help me to maintain my course and remind me that I am capable and that others have experienced this same journey.

Others may chuckle and shoot me down, but I do not hear their voices; their doubts and pettiness are not worth my time. Even those close to me may not understand my goals or methods, and that, too, is okay.

I find strength in my own understanding and realize that the majority or the 'regular' way is not always to be MY way.

Stand tall.
Don't let fear stop you.
